Binning service for up to 30,000 BBs

What is this? This is a service, not a product, to bin up to 30,000 BBs. You provide the BBs, and we sort them into four performance bins, with bin #1 being the highest quality and #4 being the lowest. We did extensive work to quantify the performance gain from BB binning, and wrote up a blog post detailing the results. Hunterseeker5 was deeply involved in the development and testing of this process. The short version though is that binning BBs tends to reduce group size by an average of 15%. There is another thing though: BBs in each bin though will tend to have similar characteristics, so bin #2 and even bin #3 will tend to out-perform unbinned BBs because you've sorted by similar performance characteristics and removed the fliers of bin #4. What is binning? Binning is a commercial term for the process of sorting almost identical items by quality or performance. Common examples include high performance LEDs or CPUs, technological elements where the manufacturing consistency is imperfect and some units turn out better than others. As anyone who has ever cracked open, or shot, an airsoft BB can attest, some rounds just fly better than others. This binning process sorts BBs by both quality, and similar performance characteristics, as well as filtering out most of those nasty fliers.

What must you provide? You are responsible for providing us with the BBs you want binned. PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION, CLANDESTINE AIRSOFT ORDER NUMBER, AND RETURN ADDRESS WITH YOUR BBS SO WE CAN PROCESS YOUR ORDER. We do accept drop-shipping, but again make sure the above information is included in the box of BBs you send us. How many BBs will be in bin #1? This varies substantially from manufacturer to manufacturer, and batch to batch. Very broadly speaking though, bin #1 is typically about 10% of the total yield. Bin #4 also tends to be a minority, with quality BBs it tends to be less than 5%. With most brands, the lion's share of the BBs end up in bins #2 and #3.

This service includes return shipping, BUT NOT INSURANCE. If the package is lost or damaged in transit, we are happy to bin another group of BBs for you at no cost, however we can not be responsible for the replacement of the BBs themselves. If you would like to purchase insurance to cover the entire cost of the order, please get in touch with us for a custom quote. You'll need to provide us with a total value for the BBs, and a receipt which shows this amount. This receipt isn't necessary for purchasing the insurance, however it is required to file a claim.
