These pistons are made from the same bodies as the SHS 15 tooth piston but with the last tooth only half as tall. The SHS 15 tooth piston is well known for being perhaps the best piston for the price when extreme strength is needed and these pistons are nearly identical in construction so share it's strength. It's made of fiber reinforced Nylon and has a full rack of steel teeth. If you need maximum strength and durability this is what you want.
When installing any piston it's important to correct angle of engagement (AoE) to ensure maximum piston durability. This is normally done with a sorbo pad added to the cylinder head and the last tooth of the piston removed and the 2nd to last tooth partially removed. As with most pistons this one will requires slight tuning to get correct AoE. Also as with all full rack pistons it's highly recommended to glue the rack into the piston body with a cyanoacrylate adhesive. This should of course be done with proper cleaning and surface preparation.
