A lightened version of the well regarded original 15T piston this new addition to the SHS piston lineup is an ideal candidate for any high speed build. It's made of fiber reinforced Nylon and has a full rack of steel teeth. These pistons use the same rack and body design as the standard 15T pistons but because of several “speed holes” that have been added to the body it is 2.39 grams lighter. This weight reduction reduces piston cycle time to extend the maximum rate of fire before the dreaded pre-engagement is hit at high cycle rates. Since the rack does have 15 teeth you'll have to remove the tooth before the pickup tooth and maybe half of the one before that to fix angle of engagement, if you don't want to or can't do this adding the AoE fix item to your cart you can have this done for you or just get one of the 14 tooth pistons instead.
Note: To increase this piston's amazing strength even more you can use some ultra thin cyanoacrylate adhesive (super glue) to glue the rack in place along the rails and seat it better at either end.
